The broadband networks research lab is one of the most recently established labs at IUST. Our goal here is to develop both practical expertise and solid theoretical knowledge in the general field of broadband networks. Currently we have a mix of undergraduate and graduate students working on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) performance and services, the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), Wireless Mesh Networks and WLAN deployment techniques. The main funding for our projects comes from the Iran Telecommunications Research Centre (ITRC). |
